Penang chief Minister 2 Dr.Prof.P.Ramasamy congratulation L.Yoganathan
YB. Prof. Dr. P. Ramasamy congratulates his Special Officer, Yoganathan A/L Loganathan who has recently won the 1st place of Malaysia National Award at the Sony World Photography Awards 2021.
The World Photography Organisation was established in 2007 with the purpose is to raise the level of conversation around photography worldwide, through a year-round programme of exhibitions, awards and competitions including the Sony World Photography Awards.This year, Yoganathan, a marine biology graduate from University Malaysia Terrengganu, submitted his image of a long-tailed macaque taken at Kuala Gula,
Perak mangrove forest and entitled it “Ray of Hope”. His photograph was anonymously selected by judges for the open competition of the Natural World and Wildlife category. World Photography Organisation and Sony Malaysia revealed Yoganathan as the Malaysia’s National Award winner through their website, www.worldphoto.org. Yoganathan has been working as a Special Officer at Penang Deputy Chief Minister II’s Office since February 2019. YB. Prof. Dr. P. Ramasamy is proud that Yoganathan spends his free time productively and has passion for wildlife and nature conservation.
